Marián Marhefka

A complete turnaround of the industry, working as an Account Controller for the stragetic business partner in the Swiss LBU, made it possible for me to enhance my adapability quotient and at the same time gave me the opportunity to learn and speak another foreign language. 

Working for a production company was a trully unique experience. My role was to support the operations on its journey to excellence, leveraging the previous knowledge from the field of accounting, controlling and reporting.

Moving from Bratislava to Košice, I have embraced the opportunity to support the shared service centre on its path to establishment and expansion of its newly created operations.

A senior role in the headquarter of the gas operator enabled me to experience multi-purpose and complex controlling activities, with a strong focus on budgeting, closing, business modelling and accounting. 

A gate to the corporate world. Invaluable experience in a broad range of departments related to reporting, finance and controlling provided me with a solid background to kick-off the career.

The qualification I am the most proud of. It has provided me with a valuable insight into the accountancy profession with strong ethical foundations. I am keen to apply the knowledge and values of the global body in the corporate world.

Economics and finace are core to my educational background. In the Faculty of Business Administration I have gained strong fundamentals for my future career.
